Customer's Fault Description
Remote not working even with new batteries. Stove works fine when using it's inbuilt switches but remote doesn't work at all.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Dimplex Remote control for an electric stove arrived safely from Keighley and on testing was found to have no signal.
On opening this was found to be due to the main IC breaking away form the PCB. The IC was soldered firmly back into place which restored full functionality.
A Duracell battery will be supplied fitted on return.
