Customer's Fault Description
Left outside in the rain not working battery goes flat when switched off
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor mover remote arrived safely and on testing was found to not respond from its double power button press.
The supplied battery was dead but when trying a new battery the remote remained dead.
On opening there was a large mass of corrosion over the PCB around the buttons (see image). All buttons were replaced as well as the battery cable which then restored full functionality.
