Customer's Fault Description
Very probably on/off control button works 1% of the time. Searching your website for Reich, my problem seems identical to that for the 4th item on the list (which is also for same controller).
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Caravan mover control handset arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish response to the power buttons double press.
This was due to 2 issues, the first was a faulty battery cable and also the ribbon cable to the facia having corrosion spots in.
The battery cable was replaced and then the facia ribbon cut back by 1mm and refitted to bypass the spots of corrosion.
This restored full functionality and the remote now powers on each time the power button is double pressed.
Please note that the battery that was inside the remote was reading 7 volts meaning it might work but it is highly recommended to obtain a new battery asap.
