Customer's Fault Description
Right hand orange stop button intermittent but the main issue is that a capacitor was found to be detached from the circuit board
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Maha remote arrived safely from Wakefield and on inspection was found to have a damaged screen, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
On opening the internal battery was missing. A component was found taped to the inside of the case, this was an oscillator and not a capacitor. A replacement was fitted and then it was found that the button pads were worn making button response poor.
Replacement conductive pads were glued under the buttons on the top row, this restored response.
