Velux Integra KLR200 Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Velux

Model : Integra KLR200

Customers Fault Description : Tried both remotes after the winter ended. Neither worked, despite inserting new batteries. I have an unused but new spare, which is working with new batteries inserted.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

These two Velux windows remote controls arrived safely from London and on testing one had intermittent power and the other was totally dead.

Both were found to be due to the same issue caused by a battery leak.

The terminals were contaminated / corroded.  Once the terminals were cleaned up and then re-plated full functionality was restored to both (see testing video)
