Customer's Fault Description
no power to the remote via (AA)batteries, but will power on when plugged directly into the caravan movers' electric box and works fine.
To power on the controller, you must double-click the red button.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This caravan mover Remote control arrived safely from Newport and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
This was found to be due to the tether port being open circuit on 2 of its pins. This was effectively stopping the battery power to reach the PCB.
The port was replaced which restored full functionality.
