Although the remote works perfectly, the wire has become frayed and the covering has come off exposing the wiring.

This Hand remote to rise and recline Comformatic chair arrived safely from Eastbourne and on inspeciton was confirmed to have a badly damaged cable.  

A replacement striaght cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind)
