Customer's Fault Description
Put in new battery handset will not work. Before this the handset was intermittent at powering up.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found not to respond to its twin power button press.

This was due to worn button contacts.  Replacement conductive pads were glued into place which restored full functionality.
