Customer's Fault Description
Led screen on remote was gradually getting dimmer over last 6 months, remote was still operating windows. Led screen no longer displays anything
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely from Essex and on inspection there were cracks around the edge of the remote and part of the bottom of the battery compartment was missing (all this does not effect functionality and is due to the brittle material of the case that has worsened over the years)
On testing the display was confirmed to be totally blank, when removed this was due to the Liquid crystal leaking out of the screen (see image), unfortunately this display is not available as spares making a repair not possible.
The code was taken from the main 3 buttons and 2 clones created and supplied.
