Customer's Fault Description
No response from any button, red light flickers when battery is wiggled on contacts.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrived safely form the United States and on testing was found to be transmitting its radio frequency signal as per normal operation on all buttons.
Its important to note that the red light on this remote only illuminates when the battery voltage is low, i.e. it is a low battery indicator. This is why the light will flicker when the battery is wiggled as the power source will be intermittently making a connection. When used as normal the remote is transmitting.
The remote was opened to check for defects but no fault could be replicated.
