Customer's Fault Description
When you replace the batteries, the screen lights up for about 5 seconds and then goes blank. The controller then doesn’t function.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Air Con controller arrived safely from Macclesfield and on testing was confirmed to not respond to any of its buttons and seem dead after initial startup.

This was due to a faulty oscillator, once replaced the remote functioned as normal.
