Appears to be a connection issue as this has been an intermittent problem that has got worse over time
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Ego remote controller arrived safely and on testing was found not to respond to its double power button press.
When peeling back the facia there was a mass of contamination over many of the button contacts.
The PCB was cleared of all contaminates which restored full functionality to all buttons.
