no function [ will not open roof ], also hi usage of batteries
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Heki roof remote control arrived safely from Kent and on inspection the mounting screw for the PCB was missing as well as its screw socket.
On testing the remote was found to transmit on each of the top 2 buttons (the bottom 2 are not used and are missing their spacers)
It was when talking to the customer whilst testing that the remote was found to no transmit on a few occasions.
When testing the button resistance it was found that the resistance across the switch when not activated was erratic, both the top buttons were replaced.
The customer is to test the remote fully on return.
