Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely from Dartford and on testing was found not to respond to its double power button press. The battery was also found to get warm.
The battery cable had been replaced prior to arrival with us, there seemed to be a short somewhere in the cable. A replacement cable was fitted. Then the ribbon cable to the button array was cut back by 1mm to bypass and damage in the connection.
Full functionality was restored.
