Customer's Fault Description
The fire is not connecting to the remote control and the battery indicator was flashing even though a new battery was fitted. We are not sure if the issue is with the control box but due to the difficulty in removing the control box, we would prefer to see if the remote is at fault and can send the control box later if required.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gazco remote control arrived safely from King's Lynn and on testing was found to have an erroneous battery indicator and consequentially a weak RF signal.
The regulator and battery cable were both replaced which restored full functionality to the handset.
