VELUX Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : VELUX
Customers Fault Description : Window blind remote has stopped working. No buttons are working. Opening up the battery case and there was a lot of white crystals. I have changed both AAA batteries and it is still not working. We have 2 Velux blinds and the 2nd remote still works with both window blinds, so the fault is with the remote.

This Velux remote control arrived safely from France and on testing was found to be dead
On opening the button array was found to have suffered corrosion form a battery leak (see image). The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
