Customer's Fault Description
Just stopped working, I then noticed the dark brown leaking out the bottom and the inside bottom rusty (where you insert batteries).
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Velux remote controller arrived safely form Preston and on inspeciotn wsa foudn to have a missing battery terminal.  This had corroded away due to a battery leak.

The Terminal was replaced which restored full functionality.
