Went through the washer, tried changing batteries but it doesnt work at all....
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Cordula garage door remote control arrived safely from North Shields and on testing was found to be dead using the Duracell batteries provided, we recommend not using Duracell batteries in this item as it can give a dead issue even with fully charged batteries.
Eveready batteries were inserted which then showed that the remote was transmitting without any button bein pressed.
The button pads were peeled back which revealed a large amount of contamination over the contacts (see image).
The button pads and PCB was etched clean which restored full functionality.
A set of Eveready batteries will be supplied fitted on return.
