Customer's Fault Description
Was in door pocket of caravan’ heavy rain came in and control got wet. On finding it I did not switch on and opened up took apart and dried out. It worked to get caravan off drive; but when got to site wouldn’t light up when switching on. Stuck now to get back on drive. Thanks.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Caravan motor mover remote control arrived safely from Sale and on testing was found to not respond to its double power button press.
On opening the battery cable was damaged but this was not the issue.
The button facia connector cable was decomposing, this was cut back to bypass the damage and refitted which restored full functionality.
The battery cable was also replaced.
