Customer's Fault Description
The remote no longer works the control/receiving box, I've tried another remote and it does work the control/receiving box. I've also tried the remote on a different control/receiving and it didn't work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Gas Fire remote control arrived safely from Devizes and on testing was found not to transmit a signal on any button press.

This was due to a faulty transducer, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
