remote did not work before I managed to split the wire.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This recliner/riser chair remote control arrived safely from Exmouth and on inspection was found to have a severed cable.
A replacement straight cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind.
The rest of the remote was tested as ok, the button contacts were cleaned in case of an intermittent issue.
It is not known what the original issue was before the customer severed the cable but the remote control has been tested to a component level to be as normal therefore if the "original" issue remains then it will not be remote related.
