Customer's Fault Description
dropped remote, will not power up, tried new battery but still won't power up.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Motor mover remote control arrived safely from Chelmsford and on testing would not respond to its double power button press.
The battery cable had visible damage and when opened the 2 topmost mounting pins for the PCB were broken.
The battery cable was replaced and then the PCB hot glued into place.
When re-tested the remote would power up on each double press as per normal and the RF signal was present.
