Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Celebrity remote control arrived safely from Maryport and on inspection the cable and button contacts were all found to be as normal.
A complete component test was then carried out again with no problem being found, it was concluded that in this case the issue does not seem to be the handset itself.
The customer is to check that the extension cable is seated correctly in the socket (this is the cable that geoes from the arm of the chair to the control box) also check the the mains fuse for the chair has not blown in the mains plug. Failing that it could be a motor or control box issue.
