Customer's Fault Description
With batteries connected no power when i/o pressed on.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Aircon remote control arrived safely from Southwick and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening the button array was found to be contaminated, this was cleaned up but the issue remained. The fault was due to a faulty oscillator, once one was replaced full functionality was restored.
