Customer's Fault Description
Remote seems dead although it was working fine prior to being stored for a few months while redecorating. Looks as new.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Arcam Music Server / CD Player remote control arrived safely from Aberdeen and on inspection there was some contamination inside the battery housing that could be from a battery leak.
On testing the remote was found to be transmitting as per normal on every button, the code was tested and was consistent with a standard Arcam remote codeset.
The remote was opened to check for defects but no problem could be replicated.
