Customer's Fault Description
The wireless remote screen is not lighting up at all . It has shown a Communication Eroor three times in the last 4 months. I have tried a number of different batteries in the remote. I have taken the batteries out ready for posting.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Central Heating remote control arrived safely from Barnsley and on testing was found to be dead.
On opening there was signs of a battery leak on one of the terminals (see image). The battery leak had blown a regulator, once the regulator was replaced the remote sprang back to life.
