Customer's Fault Description
The fire / remote has been in storage for a year and the remote had stopped working. It’s dead. The fire is ok and works via the buttons but the remote doesn’t. I’ve replaced the batteries and nothing. Nothing on the display
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Electric Fire remote control arrived safely from Wimbledon and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
One of the terminals had signs of corrosion (possibly from a battery leak)
The terminal was replaced which restored full functionality.
