Customer's Fault Description
Works intermittently. When wiggle and bend lead close to where it goes into handset control can get all the buttons to operate. Suspect lead is ‘fractured’ near this point and only by moving it around can I make necessary contact for it to work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Recliner chair "touch stop" 5 button remote control arrived safely from Herne Bay and on inspection was found to have damaged internal wires at the remote entry point.
The cable was cut back and refitted to bypass the breaks.
