Customer's Fault Description
Remote not working, have replaced batteries and temp repaired battery terminal, have 2.84v at battery exit. But will not light led on remote when buttons pressed
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Caravan roof vent remote control arrived safely from Bristol and on testing weas confirmed to be dead.
On opening the terminal looked to have been worked on, a replacement was fitted which restored partial functionality.
The batteries were found to pop up away from the terminal when the remote is bashed. This is a poor design flaw that was remedied by fitting foam spacers to the underside of the front cover.
Please note that the LED on this remote will not illuminate as it is Infra red (invisible light)
