Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Velux remote control arrived safely form London and on testing was found to be dead. On opening the remote was found to have suffered a battery leak which was corroding the negative terminal.
The supplied batteries were disposed of (the customer will need to get replacement batteries, only use quality batteries such as Eveready or Duracell, as these cheaper batteries are prone to leaking)
The negating terminal was then replaced and when retested the remote was restored to full functionality.
