Customer's Fault Description
Volume + and other buttons not working (volume down OK). Tried cleaning contacts / buttons once stripped down to no avail - suspect board level fault.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrive safely and on inspection the IR plastic cover was missing, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available and it doesnt effect functionality.
On testing there were a few buttons that were non responsive. This was due to corrosion in the print causing open circuits (this is from a battery leak). The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
