Screen went blank, changed batteries lasted a few hours then went blank again.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrived safely from Wigton and on testing was found to be transmitting permanently without a button being pressed (this was effectively draining the batteries).
This was found to be due to contamination on the button array edge connection from an apparent battery leak. Once the contacts were cleaned of all contaminants full functionality was restored.
Please note that any battery that was inserted into this remote will have been drained therefore it is important to use brand new batteries on return and to dispose of any previously used batteries.
