Remote Fixer Repair Response
This golf trolley remote arrived safely and on testing was initially found to respond to its button presses.
After talking to the customer it was found that the charging was not working. The battery had signs of expansion but when the charging lead was fitted to the socket the 5v was not present. This was due to a faulty socket. The socket was reworked and then the battery replaced.
The item then started to charge as per normal.
It is thought that the irregular button response was due to low power form the item not being able to be charged fully. The customer is to test the item fully on return.
