Customer's Fault Description
No light illuminating on remote when trying to power up changed batteries and rubbed up contacts but no power light or sync with mover relay. it has been stood for 2 years
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Caravan mover remote control arrived safely from Rishton and on testing was found to be dead.
The battery block had signs of a battery leak but this was not the cause of the issue. The LED was blown, a replacement was fitted which restored power but then it was found that the RF board was also faulty. A replacement RF module was fitted which restored full functionality.
The terminals were cleaned and conductive paint used to make a more solid connection.
