Customer's Fault Description
The remote does not appear to be controlling fire, only randomly turns it on 1 in 100 goes and will not turn it off or control the heat. I have replaced batteries in the remote and the gas fire receiver to no effect.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas Fire remote control arrived safely from Northowram and on testing the 3.3 volt regulator was reading erroneous which was causing the RF signa to be very low in strength.
The regulator was replaced which restored normal functionality.
