It’s dead. No power, changed batteries. No obvious reason.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This RC-X35L lifestyle remote control arrived safely from Bolton and on inspection the rocker switch cap from the back of the remote was missing and one of the fixing screws was missing meaning there was an attempted opening prior to arrival with us. this button cover cannot be replaced as spare are not available and it doesn't not effect functionality (as per our terms we do not repair cosmetic issues, mainly due to lack of spare parts).
On testing the remote was confirmed to be dead. This was due to the common 1R SMD cracking and going open circuit. Once this SMD was replaced full functionality was restored (see image below)
The missing screw was replaced.
