Customer's Fault Description
The remote was working intermittently with the light coming on when the 'on' switch is pressed. The light no longer comes on and there is no beep from the unit in the caravan
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Remote Controller for a caravan mover arrived safely from Hobson and on testing was found to have sluggish response to its double power button press, also when powered up the forward left button was found to be non responsive.
When the button pads were peeled apart there was contamination found on the power and front left buttons (see image). Once this was etched clean full functionality was restored and a strong RF signal was found to be present.
