The remote is completely dead following a long period in storage.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Remote control for a Beomaster 6000 system arrived safely from Surbiton and on testing was confirmed to be dead.  The battery cable had signs of a battery leak and was found to be open circuit.

A replacement battery cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
