remote just stopped working
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This DD2 remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting permanently without any button being pressed.
On opening there was corrosion shorting out the pins of the main IC (see image).
This was all cleaed up but the fault remained. It appears that the ic has suffered internal damage from the shorted pins. This has made a repair not possible.
