Customer's Fault Description
The remote has not worked for some time but the awning still opens and retracts electronically simply by plugging into electrical source.I will include a copy of some instructions as may assist. I would be happy if the remote could be fixed to be used via lead to electrical supply.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
On opening the twin battery blocks had signs of a battery leak and one of the negative wires was disconnected.
Both battery blocks were replaced which restored power. The touch screen was found to be loose and as we cannot get past the "no connection" startup it is unknown if the touchscreen is fully functional. The customer is to test it fully on return.
