Does not switch after double press
Remote Fixer Repair Response
ths motor mover remote control arrived safely from King's Lynn and on testing was confirmed to not respond to its double power button press.
This was due to micro corrosion spots in the ribbon connector. The connector appeared to have already been cut back in the past, it was then cut back again to bypass the latest corrosion spots and then hot glue was used to try to solidify the connection (it is thought that vibrations through use causes the connection to move by a tiny amount which over time etches holes in the pinpoint connections)
Full functionality was restored. (see testing video)
