Motocaddy s7 Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Motocaddy
Model : s7
Customers Fault Description : Controller has worked perfectly until this weekend when the range became very limited, but still worked assumed battery was running low. In order to charge, I need to remove the four screws and open the casing charging began and seems to proceed as normal with the blue lights visible for 25 to 30 minutes.. after charging, I carefully resealed, the controller, tested with the trolley, however, could not pair, the controller appeared dead.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
this S7 Golf trolley remote control arrived safely from Tibberton and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening the positive terminal was found to have been ripped from the battery (see image), this is a common issue due to the fragile material used on the battery.
A replacement battery was fitted which restored full functionality.
