Customer's Fault Description
My remote is not switching on anymore even though I have tried a fresh battery. Over the last couple of years I have had to press both green buttons quite hard to get the remote to respond and pair with the caravan, so this may be what's faulty. I can't check the other buttons.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Powrtouch motor mover remote control arrived safely from Teignmouth and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish twin power button response.
This is a common issue caused by worn button contacts.
Replacement conductive pads were glued into place which restored full functionality. All other buttons were tested as ok.
