Customer's Fault Description
The handset does not seem to turn on at all. Last time we parked the van it was fine. We had the same problem a few months ago so changed the batteries and it worked. This time changed the batteries (twice, just in case we'd bought duff ones) but the handset seems dead. The caravan battery is fully charged and the unit inside the van flashes red (trying to connect) when isolator switch is turned on.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Truma motor mover remote control arrived safely from Cupar and on testing was confirmed to not power on.
On opening, the shaft of the internal switch was broken. Once the switch was replaced full functionality was restored.
