This Fire remote control arrived safely from Ashton under Lyne and on testing was found to have an erroneous battery indicator and subsequentially a very weak RF signal.

This was due to a faulty voltage regulator.  Once the regulator was replaced full functionality was restored.  The battery cable was also replaced.
