Velux KLR 200 remote controller Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The screen is touch control but doesn’t seem to respond . The image is there but pressing the screen or trying to get anything activated is very hard / impossible .
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This wireless controller for velux windows arrived safely and on inspection the screen appeasr to have markings on it (this is noticible when tilting the screen towards a light source (see main image). These markings look to be abrasions on the touchscreen possibly from some corrosive cleaning solution.
Unfortunately the touch screen / display assembly is not available as a spare which has deemed a repair not possible.
