Customer's Fault Description
Controlor not working, advised after phone call to send for repair as double tapping the on button still doesnt turn on.
It is to control movers on a 2008 Compass Rallye 634 twin axle caravan.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Caravan Motor Mover Remote control arrived safely from Penrith and on testing was confirmed not to respond to its double power button press.
This was due to the connecting ribbon cable for the button facia, unfortunately this couldn't be cut back as it looks to have already been done in the past. Luckily we did have a spare button facia from a scrap remote. Once this was fitted the remote would then power up as per normal (see testing video) A replacement battery cover was fitted as the original was missing its retaining clips.
