Customer's Fault Description
The remote does not power up when the on button is pressed. Normally, when the on button is pressed (it takes a double press), the remote runs a self test and various lights flash but this is not happening. The batteries have been changed for fresh ones without effect. The handset part number is Reich 227-2300.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Remote control for a caravan motor mover arrived safely from Newbury and on testing was found to power up as per normal from tis double power button press.

The remote was opened to check for possible defects but no fault could be replicated. (see testing video)
