Powrtouch Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Powrtouch
Customers Fault Description : Hi Martin, further to my call, my motor mover remote worked last year but was left in the caravan over winter where I believe it suffered damp entering the PCB with the battery plugged in. When I came to use it again, the unit was dead. Tried new batteries and carefully cleaned the PCB, however, still no luck.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This motor mover remote controller arrived safely from Stevenage and on testing was found not to respond to its power button press.
A component test was carried out and on of the LEDs was found to be short circuit. This LED was replaced and full functionality was restored (see testing video)
