Wire outer insulation damaged but handset still works

This Celebrity Powered Chair remote control arrived safely from Plymouth and on inspection was found to have a damaged cable and a sluggish button.

A replacement straight cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind) and then the button replaced.  The rest of the remote was tested as ok.
